CIMIC Group has announced that Independent Director Trevor Gerber will resign from the company, effective 31 December 2019.
According to a CIMIC Group statement, Mr. Gerber cited his recent appointment as Vicinity Centres Chairman, effective from November 2019, as the reason for his decision.
Mr. Gerber was appointed as a CIMIC Group Independent Non-executive Director in June 2014 and is Chairman of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee.
CIMIC Group Executive Chairman Marcelino Fernández Verdes said the Board of Directors thanks Mr. Gerber for his significant contribution during his tenure.
“On behalf of the Board, I thank Mr Gerber for his contribution to our company,” Mr. Verdes said.
“His extensive and varied executive and board experience has been a valuable addition to our business and we wish him well in his future endeavours.”
