More than $14 million worth of construction contracts in the gas and infrastructure sectors have been secured by an Australian energy and infrastructure company.
Valmec Limited has secured a construction, fabrication and maintenance works contract for Water Corporation in Western Australia in its infrastructure facilities at Norseman and Bold park.
The company has additionally secured the commissioning support services contract for Jemena for both the Mount Isa and Phillip Creek compression facilities as part of the Northern Gas Pipeline project.
A compression equipment overhaul and maintenance services for APA Group contract has also been won on the Sole Orbost Project in Victoria.
The contracts are expected to commence immediately with the majority of the works expected to be completed by early 2019.
Valmec’s Managing Director Steve Dropulich said the company leveraged its unique self-perform and end to end capabilities, which now includes asset integrity testing.
“Valmec remains well placed to participate in the significant upstream energy and infrastructure spending expected to be committed during FY2019,” he said.
