Fulton Hogan appoints new AU leadership roles

The company has appointed Nick Marinelli as its new Australian CEO and Duncan Gibb as its CEO – Construction.

Fulton Hogan has appointed Nick Marinelli and Duncan Gibb as its new Australian CEO and Australian CEO – Construction, respectively.

According to a news item posted on the Fulton Hogan website, Mr. Marinelli will be supported by a CEO for each of the Construction and Industries streams in his new role, with Mr. Gibb already named as the new CEO – Construction.

The two appointments are effective from 1 July, 2017.

The firm’s position of CEO – Industries is currently vacant, with Mr. Marinelli continuing to manage this portfolio for the immediate future.

In the news piece, Fulton Hogan Managing Director Nick Miller stated that the new structure “strengthens Fulton Hogan’s common vision and culture.”

“This new structure strengthens Fulton Hogan’s common vision and culture, It will also improve customer experience, particularly in sectors where both Industries and Construction operate,” said Fulton Hogan Managing Director Nick Miller in the news item.

According to the news piece, Mr. Marinelli joined the company in 2009, holding a number of executive positions including General Manager – Planning and Development and more recently, Chief Executive Officer – Australian Industries.

Mr. Gibb joined Fulton Hogan in 2004, working within both the company’s Australian and New Zealand businesses. He worked as General Manager of its Queensland Business and led the $2 billion rebuild of Christchurch infrastructure between 2011 and 2015. He has also held senior executive roles in the company, namely in strategic development, HSQE and sustainability.

Mr. Gibb most recently headed up the start up of the Kaikoura Earthquake rebuild in New Zealand.

“As Fulton Hogan continues to grow, we’ll remain agile in our structure to ensure our Industries and Construction customers continue to benefit from our unique culture,” stated Mr. Miller.
