The Perth-based mining services company has received a $12 million variation to a bulk earthworks contract with the Gruyere gold joint venture between Gold Fields and Gold Road Resources.

MACA’s contract at the Eastern Goldfields project has been extended to October this year with the variation.

The company was originally named as the contractor for the bulk earthworks package in April 2017.

MACA has won a civil earthworks contract constructing evaporating ponds for Western Areas at the Cosmos nickel project near Leinster. It expects this contract to be worth up to $6 million.

The company, through its Victorian based infrastructure business, has also been awarded a $6 million contract for an intersection upgrade for VicRoads, with the bulk of the revenue expected to occur in the second half of the 2018 calendar year.
