The ALC has welcomed details of the NSW Government’s plan for electric and hybrid vehicles, saying the rollout of reliable charging infrastructure will be essential to encourage the uptake of electric freight vehicles.
Early works have begun on the Parramatta Light Rail, with intersection upgrades, new traffic light installation, landscaping and traffic adjustments underway.
Works will begin later this year across Western Sydney, as part of a $170 million investment to improve the region’s community infrastructure and public spaces.
The New South Wales Government will commit the extra funds, in addition to the $70 million already allocated, for the duplication project from Williamtown to Bobs Farm in Port Stephens.
Work is set to commence on the project, which involves rebuilding sections of Warrabungle Street for the new bridge across the railway line at Gunnedah, NSW.
