The business is relocating from its operations from Holroyd to Casula, with the first day of operation on 16 July, followed by an official opening in August.

Situated at the intersection of the M5 and M7, the new facility is closer to a number of significant current and future infrastructure projects, which WesTrac said means it will be better place to service its customers and grow its business.

The new facility includes a warehouse 1500 square-metres larger than its site at Holroyd as well as a new drive-through parts bay, catering for sectors including heavy construction, building construction, commercial engines, paving and highway trucks.

Specialised service areas include capabilities for component rebuilds and painting and a 300-square-metre product demonstration area has been included to provide customers with first-hand experience of the latest Cat products.

“The new base for our Sydney operations is located at the centre of the city’s growth corridor and is easily accessible via major arterial roads,” WesTrac NSW/ACT Chief Executive Greg Graham said.

“It’s closer to where our customers are based and where they do business which means less time on the road and more time on site being productive.”
