The Winners of the Master Builders Victoria 2018 Excellence in Construction Awards have been announced to showcase the craftsmanship and excellence in the commercial sector of the building industry throughout Victoria.
Vaughan Constructions was named the Master Builder of the Year for the company’s work on the Dulux Merrifield Coatings Plant. The coating plant was considered to be a complex build that impressed the judges with its design and delivery.
DAS Constructions Pty Ltd was selected for the Regional Commercial Builder of the Year award for the Newhaven College Stage 1 Senior Learning Centre and Specialist Facility project. It required the coordination of trades to provide complex fire-safety, data and electrical requirements and services.
Marco Bonadio was named Young Builder of the Year for his project management and leadership skills. Mr Bonadio has worked for Kane Constructions since 2005 and has more than 17 years of experience in the building industry and has worked on the GMBHA Stadium Stage 4, Simonds Stadium Redevelopment Stage 2 and 3, and the Presbyterian Ladies’ College Performing Arts Centre.
