ARRB announces Integrated Mobility Impacts conference

The Australian Road Research Board’s (ARRB) popular annual conference will return for 2021.

But while it will be an in-person event, it will be significantly different from what’s gone before.

In 2021, ARRB will conduct a three-day symposium-type event called Integrated Mobility Impacts.

The event will be held from Wednesday, November 17 to Friday, November 19 at ARRB’s headquarters – the National Transport Research Centre – in Port Melbourne.

Integrated Mobility Impacts will offer world-leading learnings and research findings, with a uniquely Australian perspective. It will give delegates the opportunity to understand what the future of mobility is going to look like and receive technical insights and hands-on masterclasses to better understand connected mobility.

Topics covered will include smart roads, connected and automated vehicles, alternative vehicle power sources, the future of road safety, next generation infrastructure measurement and how Australia can effectively turn its $300 billion road network into the future mobility corridors the nation needs.

Experts from within ARRB and outside will feature as keynote and guest speakers.

While visiting ARRB’s state-of-the-art facility, attendees will be able to explore for themselves ARRB’s world-leading road research laboratories and infrastructure measurement equipment – the cutting-edge tools developing the mobility corridors for Australia now, and into the future.

The symposium will also be run in conjunction with the National Transport Research Awards and ARRB Gala Dinner. Now in its third year, the Awards and Gala night will be held on Friday, November 19 in Melbourne, immediately after the final day of the symposium.

Tickets for the Integrated Mobility Impacts symposium, the National Transport Research Awards and ARRB Gala Dinner are available now.

Delegates who attend Integrated Mobility Impacts will get the opportunity to buy a discounted package ticket to attend the Awards and Gala.
