The Australian Road Research Board’s (ARRB) Chief Executive Officer Michael Caltabiano has been elected to the Board of the International Road Federation (IRF).
Mr. Caltabiano said his new role with the IRF would enable ARRB to strengthen its ties with international road federations and companies innovating in the transportation space.
“Our new collaborations will shorten the implementation timeline for new products and processes in the road sector in Australia,” he said.
The IRF is a not-for-profit organisation with the mission to promote road network development that enables access and sustainable mobility. It is a global, independent, membership-based organisation with headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
