Downer has received a top industry award at Inside Waste’s inaugural 2018 Waste and Resource Recovery Excellence awards for its asphalt product utilising soft plastics – Plastipave.
The firm took our the Veolia Circular Economy Award at the event, held at the Doltone House Parkview, Pyrmont, NSW on November 22.
Hosted by Inside Waste, in partnership with the Waste Management Association of Australia, and supported by major sponsors SUEZ, Arcadis and Veolia, the awards night featured 50 entries across 10 categories, all of which champions the country’s most innovative waste industry businesses, individuals and projects.
