Engineers Australia has announced a partnership with major software company Autodesk.

Autodesk create software for the architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, media and entertainment sectors.

Engineers Australia Executive Manager, Membership and Growth, Jane Hanks said through collaboration with organisations such as Autodesk, who are actively taking a leadership position in providing innovative solutions both globally and in Australia, we can support the engineering community and key stakeholders in the design of tomorrow’s engineering roles.

Autodesk will aim to bring a wealth of expertise and knowledge on the importance of taking a strategic approach to the opportunities and challenges engineers are facing and those they may face in the future.

Autodesk Senior Manager Industry Sales Development, Rod Hunt said this partnership will enable us to share a broad vision of where we see engineering is moving globally and disruptions that will challenge us all within this space.

“It’s imperative in the current environment for Autodesk to partner with organisations such as Engineers Australia to build resilience in the engineering community, to educate and prepare engineers and engineering organisations for the next 5-10 years,” Mr. Hunt said.

Engineers Australia look forward to working with their members and stakeholders to raise awareness and debate to bring about tangible change.
