IPWEA Transform 2021

IPWEA Victoria’s first virtual conference will be held from the 13-14 May, with the event dedicated to connecting attendees with sponsors, exhibitors, presenters and peers. 

Day one, the Industry Expo, will run from 9am to 4pm AEST on the 13 of May, and will give attendees the chance to engagewith leading suppliers and providers to the public works sector. 

Exhibitors will virtually showcase their services, new products and best practices with special features such as case studies, live factory tours and Q&A sessions also being part of the event. 

Day two, the Learning Forum, enables attendees to together to dissect and discuss 24 pre-recorded videos, each 30 minutes long, with their peers, panel speakers and presenters. 

Four main conference streams: Technology, Managing Self, Sustainability and Leading Others will begin with live keynote presentations followed by facilitated panel discussions. 

The Learning Forum will run from 9am-4pm AEST followed by ‘UpShot’: a live streamed wrap-up of the conference by our young members committee.  

Transform 2021 has been designed as a platform for online learning and engagement, with maximum value and convenience for the attendees in mind.

The event will also feature the launch of a Registration Readiness service for organisations employing engineers. Developed by IPWEA Victoria in conjunction with CT Management Group, this new service helps employers’ transition to a regulated environment by reviewing engineering Position Descriptions against the requirements of the Professional Engineers Registration Act to determine which roles will need to be filled by a registered engineer when the Act takes effect.
