Northlink WA receives top honours at ISCA awards

Northlink WA has been recognised with two major awards at 2017 Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia (ISCA) awards, held in Melbourne this October.

The awards commend the projects or assets that have utilised ISCA’s Infrastructure Sustainability (IS) rating scheme – a system used for evaluating sustainability across design, construction and operation of infrastructure.

The Southern Section design of major Western Australian project won the IS Outstanding Achievement Award which honours an IS-certified project or asset that has demonstrated the highest overall score with sustainability achievements.

It also received the IS Impact Award for a project worth more than $20 million in value.

The Queen Elizabeth Street and Collect Street Project (Queanbeyan Palerang Regional Council) won the IS Impact Award for a project worth less than $20 million in capital value.

Nicole Neal from Cardno took home the prestigious Individual Leadership in Infrastructure Sustainability Award, which recognises the individual who best exhibits the outstanding performance, leadership and contribution to advancing infrastructure sustainability in Australia.
