The $630 million Albion Park Rail bypass has reached an important milestone with the first of 13 bridges built and open to the public.
A $630 million bypass is being built by Transport for NSW through Albion Park Rail to create a seamless link from Sydney to the south coast and return a local road to residents.
A new section of the East West Link being built as part of the Albion Park Rail bypass project will open to traffic next month.
Member for Kiama Gareth Ward has announced the successful contractor to deliver the project in New South Wales – the largest single investment into the Princes Highway.
A request for tenders from contractors to build new sporting facilities and amenities, including earthworks, roadways and car parts, for the Croom Regional Sporting Complex – as part of the bypass – will go to market in December.
